Description
TESLA BLE TPMS The BLE TPMS refers to the Bluetooth Low Energy ( BLE) Tire Pressure Monitoring System used in Tesla vehicles. Unlike traditional TPMS, which relies on a radio frequency (RF) signal, Tesla’s BLE TPMS transmits tire pressure data directly to the vehicle’s onboard system via Bluetooth.
Tesla Models Using BLE TPMS
- Model 3 (Built October 2020–Present)
- Model Y (All Model Y vehicles)
- Model S (Refreshed) (Built June 2021–Present)
- Model X (Refreshed) (Built October 2021–Present)
- CyberTruck
- BLE Sensors in Tires – Each tire has a BLE-enabled sensor that measures pressure and temperature
- Wireless Transmission – The sensors send data via Bluetooth to the vehicle’s system
- Automatic Recognition – Tesla vehicles automatically detect and sync with BLE TPMS sensors
- Alerts & Monitoring – The system provides real-time tire pressure updates and alerts for low pressure
- No programming is needed – Sensors sync automatically with Tesla vehicles
- Energy Efficient – BLE technology consumes minimal power
- Enhanced Accuracy – Provides precise tire pressure readings
